Food by Julie is a family run business that offers a personalised catering service for your big day. They aim to use the high quality, locally sourced ingredients which are hand picked by Julie herself. All of their dishes are made from scratch and produced to the highest standard.

With over 30 years' of experience Julie and her team offer a bespoke service by tailoring each menu to meet their clients needs. They also offer a selection of dishes which have been inspired from traditional seasonal menus and dishes from across the world!

Established in 1985, Food by Julie aim to offer a bespoke, personalised catering service to match with your exact catering requirements. They are based in Berkshire but are also happy to cover the Thames Valley, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and the surrounding areas.

FBJ is a family run business that aims to always provide a professional service for all of their events. If you are looking for a supplier that can adapt their dishes to meet your needs then look no further as FBJ encourages you to personalise your menu so that you can make it unique to you and your guests.

The Food

They offer a wide selection of luxurious classic and contemporary dishes which have been inspired by traditional cuisines from around the world- this would fit in perfectly if you are having a themed wedding as Julie will work with you to create the perfect dishes for your wedding day.

They have various sample menus which are regularly updated and they are more than happy to be involved in the planning process to ensure your big day is as faultless as possible.

Prices are dependent on your wedding style and choice of menu. See example prices below:

  • Weddings- prices start from £30 pp
  • Canapes- from £6.00 - £16.50 dependant on service times
  • Finger buffets - hot and cold finger food with/without sandwiches from £10 pp
  • Cold fork buffets - from £24 pp
  • Hot fork buffets - from £24 pp

The Service

All of the dishes produced by FBJ are freshly prepared and delivered to your venue on the day of your wedding. (Chefs cost £15 p/h and front of house assistants are £12 p/h)

Equipment Hire

FBJ also offer a bespoke events management service to assist you with your big day. They can provide marquees, musicians, entertainers, equipment hire, glassware, tableware and much more!

All equipment that is hired from FBJ is delivered free of charge 1-2 days before the event. They will take away the equipment after the event and this will then be cleaned off-site to minimise disruptions to your big day.

Drinks Service

They can also provide a professional drinks service for your wedding day. Why not relax and let them provide drinks and glasses for your wedding, or they can serve drinks at your wedding for an additional cost. (Waiting and Bar Staff- £11.00 p/h minimum of £50).
